Two piano concerts happening on the same night on Saturday, 25th August 2007. I was at the UMS Recital Hall to listen to the performance given by 2 Malaysians who are now based in Paris namely Muzaffar Abdullah & Sia Poh Eng playing solo and duo. Then rushing over to listened to Bobby Chen's piano recital at the Mini Auditorium, Yayasan Sabah.

I was browsing through Mr Muzaffar Abdullah’s profile in the internet and happened to found that your name is listed in my Google search. Your reputation has proceeded you,Mr yap , even in west Malaysia. I have heard numerious credential news about your efforts in bringing up our music industry. Kudos !
As I’m also a brethren in this ever ending conquest, after majoring theory and composition and participated in some composition competition, I discovered that in order for our nation to grow strong in music, there is no other way than building a good foundation for the young ones and educating the society on how to appreciate music. I think we both share the same dream and passion for this country’s music scene.
I hope to keep in touch with you, perhaps we can exchange ideas of improving our music education qualities and share the wisdom of better musicianship.
