Yap Ling had a big shock when he heard his name being yelled at from behind by someone in the MRT when he was on his way to meet Yeo Jan Wea for lunch. This someone is none other than Amin of Jakarta, Yap Ling's old violin pal from the 1985 ASEAN Music Workshop and 1990 World Music Camp, KL. The 2nd surprise came when they met up with Jan Wea (Singaporean Violist) whom had also attended 1985 ASEAN Music Workshop and later the Pacific Music Festival in Japan. What an impromptu meet up!! They treasured this friendship tie. Thanks to ASEAN Music Workshop!
